Frequently Asked Questions
Which grantors does the MorrisonGrants database include?

The United States Federal Government, 20 state governments (with more to come), and nearly 200 private foundations, including the Kellogg Foundation, the Wallace Genetic Foundation, the Lawrence Foundation, the Coca-Cola Foundation, and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. Current state governments the database monitors are: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.

What value would the MorrisonGrants database subscription have to me?

The MorrisonGrants database offers you more time and less confusion. All grants we display appear somewhere else on the internet, but can only be found by sifting through hundreds of websites on a regular basis. Many programs have short application periods (30 days is not uncommon); the application process can be time consuming and finding a program too long after it is announced limits your opportunity to apply. Our database provides an efficient, cost-effective alternative to doing your own grant sleuthing. Also, we've designed our database so it tells you the basic information you need to know right up front. That way, you can usually tell if you're eligible from our summary and save the time it would take to read through the full grant announcement.

Can I renew my subscription once I have cancelled it using the same account?

Yes. Simply sign in with your user name and password in the box in the upper right corner of the screen. Once you have logged in, click the green “Subscribe” button in the same box and follow the instructions on the screen.

How do I cancel my subscription to the MorrisonGrants database?

Click on the “My Account” link in the upper right corner of the screen. Then, click on the “Product Subscriptions” tab. Under the “Status” column, click the “Options” link. Uncheck the box next to “Automatically renew subscription before expiration,” then press the “Save Options” button. A message will appear at the top of the screen that says “Subscription options have been successfully updated.” This confirms you have cancelled your subscription. You will have access to the site until your current subscription period expires.

Can I subscribe to MorrisonGrants monthly or annually?

Both monthly and annual subscriptions are available. Monthly subscriptions are just $29.95. Annual subscriptions are $299.95. Subscriptions continue until you terminate the service. See full terms of service.

What kinds of organizations do you work with?

Our clients include privately held businesses, cooperatives, steering committees seeking to form companies, universities, state governmental entities, trade associations and similar nonprofit organizations, and others.

Why does your subscription service focus on agribusiness and agriculture, alternative energy, and environmental programs? Will you add others?

Most grant services focus on programs for charitable organizations, schools, ands similar entities. MorrisonGrants focuses on largely underserved applicants. Agribusiness and agriculture, alternative energy, and environmental programs are also significant parts of Morrison & Company’s business consulting practice, see www.morrisonco.net. We may add other program types over time.
